DDB

Data generated art piece.

Nouveau Monde DDB° wanted to be part of the maker movement. Using a 3D printer, we have built a Gocupi Drawbot able to read Processing code lines and draw the result on a 1.5m canvas. The shapes are generated by a program in real time, selecting data from client’s briefs received during the teaser campaign and transformed into an artwork made of one 15 kilometers line.

The teaser focus on 3 materials of ideas: Ink, Paper & Light. Clients who wanted to be part of the experience were invited to send briefs, from which data had been extracted. The program then converts these data to numbers and coordinates, generating the final art piece.
